Since my last Desk setup Article I’ve Content creation. My main Desk houses my Xbox 360 & controllers along with my LG TV that I use as a Monitor, It’s also home to my Toshiba 1TB USB 3 Portable HDD when I’m Editing. The Keyboard tray holds my latest addition to my setup a Logitech MK220 Wireless Desktop Keyboard and Mouse, The Keyboard is a Slimline full Desktop layout Keyboard with Num Pad & the Mouse is a Full Sized Mouse.

The CD tray of my main desk is home to a 1TB USB 3  Portable HDD that’s used as extra storage for my Xbox 360, the Xbox 360 Power supply, Elgato game Capture HD External USB Game Capture card, a Port Advent USB 2 Hub and the Remote Control for my Monitor. I also keep my Turtle Beach X12 Gaming Headset on a Headphone hook attached to the right hand side of my main desk.

My second Desk houses a desk lamp, Plusnet Hub One Router and my Lenovo Yoga 510 Laptop on a Laptop riser. When I need to upload videos to YouTube while taking my Laptop with me on the Road my HP Stream 11 sits on the Desk as a YouTube upload server. The Keyboard tray is home to my Boombar+ Bluetooth Speaker and my HP Laserjet Pro Printer sits on the bottom shelf.

While Editing I always keep a Laminated Adobe Premiere Pro Keyboard shortcut chart on my main desk to refer to while Editing as I’ve not managed to memorize all the shortcuts yet as I’m still learning how to use Premiere Pro.

My chair is still the same one as one of my earlier setup Articles. The padding is starting to go a bit in the middle from all the use that it gets but it’s still as solid as when I first got it so I don’t see a point in replacing it yet.

I replaced my existing Keyboard and Mouse for a more useful desktop styled one as the mini Mouse that was part of my old setup was a bit uncomfortable for gaming after a bit compared to a Full sized Mouse, the lack of a proper Numpad was also getting annoying when playing games as it cut down the number of easily accessible shortcuts without having to use a fake Numpad on the main keys and the small arrow keys kept catching me out when Editing as I’d always hit the wrong arrow & skip ether to the beginning or end of a long clip instead of frame nudge through the clip.

I’ll do a what’s on my Laptop and Lenovo Yoga 510 review Articles at some point in the future as well as do one on my YouTube Channels.
